The diverse ecosystem of Shurima hosts many unique creatures adapted to its harsh desert environment:

Brackern Ancient crystalline scorpions native to the Shuriman desert, organized in clans across the continent.

Dormun Massive creatures with chitinous armor plating that can sense hidden water sources. Nomadic tribes often build permanent dwellings on their backs, maintaining a symbiotic relationship by keeping the beasts clean and hunting pests.

Eka'Sul Herd-dwelling desert goats adapted to the arid climate.

Mwatis Goat-like creatures known for their distinctive plated head casques. Their wool and plates are valued materials for insulation and felting.

Kmiros Large scarab beetles that travel in swarms and prey on travelers. They serve as common prey for Rammus.

Xer'Sai and Other Outerbeasts Void creatures that plague the southern deserts. Xer'Sai are dog-sized on average but can vary greatly in size. Their queen Rek'Sai is notably the largest and most dangerous. They ambush from burrows and decompose rapidly after death.

Ralsiji Aggressive minotaur-like quadrupeds with long limbs, thick horns, and distinctive humped backs.

Shuriman Camels Native desert-adapted camels used widely for transportation. While well-suited for desert travel, they remain vulnerable to predators like the Xer'Sai.

Skallashi Large quadrupedal herbivores with distinctively long legs. Despite their notorious bad temper, they are revered and often decorated with protective symbols and charms. Commonly used for transport and cargo, with some large enough to support small mounted rooms. Owning one indicates prosperity.
