Shuriman Wildlife and Creatures

The diverse wildlife of Shurima includes several notable species that have adapted to the harsh desert environment:

Brackern Ancient crystalline creatures found in clans around the Shuriman continent, particularly in the desert regions.

Dormun Massive creatures with chitinous armor plating that can sense hidden water sources. Nomadic tribes often build permanent homes on their backs, maintaining a symbiotic relationship.

Mwatis Goat-like creatures known for their distinctive plated head casques. Their wool and plates are valued for insulation and felting.

Xer'Sai Void creatures that plague southern deserts. Most are dog-sized but can vary greatly, with Queen Rek'Sai being the largest and most dangerous. They ambush from burrows and decompose rapidly when killed.

Skallashi Large four-legged herbivores well-suited to desert life, recognized by their long legs. Though ill-tempered, they're revered and often decorated with protective symbols. Wealthy owners may build small rooms on larger specimens for comfortable travel.
