Mel from Arcane Joins League of Legends on January 23
Mel Medarda, Ambessa's daughter from Arcane, is set to become League of Legends' first new champion of 2025. Following Ambessa's addition to the game after Arcane season two, Mel will be the second character from the show to join the MOBA's roster.

As part of League's new three-season structure in 2025, Mel will debut during the Noxus-themed first season. She was prominently featured in the 2025 cinematic, teasing both her arrival and future Runeterra content.
