While fans initially expected Mel to be a support champion based on her protective abilities shown in Arcane season two, Riot Games has positioned her as a burst-focused mid laner. Players can expect potential balance adjustments after release, as is common with new champion launches.

The champion will be available two weeks after the season's first patch (25.S1.1), allowing players to adjust to the new meta changes before her arrival.
