The most powerful spirit walker in history, Udyr possesses an unmatched connection to the spirits of the Freljord. He channels their ethereal energy into primal combat forms while maintaining a delicate balance between their chaotic influences and his own consciousness.

Born in the Freljord under a blood-red moon, Udyr's extraordinary spiritual powers manifested early but initially proved overwhelming. After his tribe was attacked by the Frostguard, his grief-fueled powers triggered an avalanche that buried the attackers.

Years later, he joined the Winter's Claw tribe, where he formed a close bond with Kalkia. However, after losing control during a rimefang wolf attack, he went into self-imposed exile. The Ionian monk Lee Sin later sought him out, leading Udyr to train at the Hirana Monastery to better control his abilities.

Upon returning to the Freljord, Udyr became mentor to Kalkia's daughter Sejuani, leader of the Winter's Claw. He now serves as their shaman while working to maintain the spiritual balance of the land through necessary conflict and challenge.
