Once a tribesman of the icy Freljord named Kegan Rodhe, Brand is a cautionary tale of power's corruption. After seizing a legendary World Rune, his humanity burned away, leaving him a vessel of living flame seeking vengeance across Valoran.

Born in Rygann's Reach to a healer mother and absent reaver father, Kegan faced constant persecution and earned the derisive nickname "Reaver-Bastard." Only his mother's healing skills prevented their complete banishment from the settlement.

After his mother's death and subsequent exile, Kegan burned down Rygann's Reach in revenge, accidentally killing his former lover Zvanna in the process. He later encountered the mage Ryze, who took him as an apprentice. However, upon discovering a World Rune, Kegan betrayed Ryze and claimed its power, transforming into Brand.

Appearance Brand's form features burned grey and black skin with glowing orange streaks. His hands and scalp continuously burn, while his eyes and mouth emit orange light. He wears only tattered brown pants with belted legs.
