Kassadin is a powerful void-fighting warrior from Shurima who seeks vengeance after losing his family to the Void. Originally a skilled desert guide known as "whom does the desert know?", he settled down with a wife and daughter until tragedy struck.

After discovering his family's death, Kassadin armed himself with dangerous artifacts including:

• Zaunite technology
• Blessings from Ionian spirit-healers
• The Nether Blade of Horok (stolen from an ancient Ascended warrior)

His body has been heavily modified by void corruption and protective gear:

• Blue-tinted skin
• Metal helmet with breathing apparatus
• Spiked shoulder pads and gauntlets
• Dark purple lower garments
• The legendary Nether Blade on his right arm

Kassadin now patrols the ruins of Icathia, fighting void creatures while slowly being corrupted by both his dangerous equipment and void exposure. Though nihilistic, he remains determined to defy the Void until death.

• Daughter: Kai'Sa (believed dead but actually alive)
• Nemesis: Malzahar (void prophet he swore to destroy)

Despite his Shuriman origins, Kassadin's singular focus on fighting the Void has weakened his homeland ties. He continues his lonely crusade, accepting that his days are numbered but willing to pay any price to save others from his family's fate.
