Former teammates and T1 have come forward to defend League of Legends pro player Rekkles against recent allegations of being a "narcissistic diva" made by esports journalist Thorin in a two-hour exposé video.

T1's CEO Joe Marsh praised Rekkles' time with the organization, highlighting his humility and dedication during his transition from ADC to Support. "As a 28-year-old, he was a fantastic person and teammate," said Marsh, adding that "Martin is family" at T1.

Former Fnatic teammates Bwipo and Broxah also defended Rekkles:

• Bwipo acknowledged that while he initially judged Rekkles' differences, he came to recognize him as "one of the most genuine, kind, and upstanding people" he's worked with
• Broxah, claiming to know Rekkles better than anyone in the industry, criticized the video's intention to "destroy" Rekkles' reputation

In response, Thorin maintains that his sources are credible, stating that his information came from multiple people who worked directly with Rekkles throughout his career. He emphasized that his sources feared speaking out due to Rekkles' popularity and potential backlash.
