Dragon Training is Smolder's core mechanic - each ability hit on champions or Q-kill on minions increases his total damage output. This power scaling makes him a formidable late-game carry.
Core Abilities:
Q - Superfire Breath: Launches a fireball that evolves with Dragon Training ranks:
- Rank 1: Area explosion around target
- Rank 2: Additional explosions behind target
- Rank 3: True damage over time + execute damage
W - Hatchy!: Releases a fire blob that:
- Damages and slows enemies
- Creates explosion when hitting champions
- Deals bonus damage in explosion area
E - Flutter, Flutter, Flutter:
- Enables brief flight over terrain
- Grants movement speed
- Auto-targets lowest health enemy champions
- Note: Must cross 51% of wall to clear it
R - MAAAMAAAA!:
- Summons long-range fire wave
- Slows and heavily damages enemies in center
- Heals Smolder when hit by the wave

- First 5 levels: Choose between Q or W focus
- Max Q after 3 points in W (at latest)
