Riot Games Names Hoby Darling as New President to Lead League of Legends Developer
Hoby Darling, former executive at Nike, Skullcandy, and Logitech, has been appointed as the new president of Riot Games, the developer behind League of Legends and Valorant. This appointment follows Dylan Jadeja's transition from global president to CEO in 2023.

- CEO of Skullcandy (2013-2017)
- Global GM for Nike+ Sport, where he expanded digital platforms and gaming partnerships
- Senior executive at Logitech, overseeing esports and gaming brands
In his new role, Darling aims to transform Riot into the "best place to make games" while developing experiences that resonate with players. "The first time I walked into Riot, I felt a scrappy, soulful, and courageous energy I knew I needed to be a part of," Darling stated.
CEO Dylan Jadeja praised Darling's ability to maximize team potential, noting that he "understands the importance of nurturing our creative heart and will challenge us to keep raising the bar for each other and for players."
