Priscilla: The Cancelled Spider Queen Champion of League of Legends
Priscilla, known as the Spider Queen, was a cancelled League of Legends champion initially developed in 2009. Later reworked into Elise, her original concept left a lasting legacy in the game's history.
Development History
Originally designed in 2009, Priscilla underwent several name changes, starting as Nidalee before becoming Priscilla. Her development was halted, but her artwork and spell icons remained in the game files for years. While her name was later used by another champion, Coronach confirmed there was no direct connection between the two.
A community poll on the League of Legends forums garnered over 24,000 votes requesting her addition to the game. Though Priscilla never made it to release, her concept eventually influenced the creation of Elise.

- Her silhouette may have inspired original Urgot's design
- Her concept was eventually reworked into the champion Elise
- She reused Evelynn's voiceover from Alpha Week 6
The champion used "Spider Queen - Nice gams" as her in-game title during development, and the presented information comes from Closed Beta 1 (March 25, 2009).
