
Major Noxus Map Overhaul Brings Epic Changes to LoL Season 25.S1
The League of Legends 2025 Season introduces significant changes to Summoner's Rift, with the game now split into three distinct seasons. The first season (25.S1) runs from January 9th to April, featuring a Noxus-themed map.
Map Changes The Noxus update transforms Summoner's Rift with a dark red theme, affecting the appearance of minions and turrets while maintaining familiar terrain layout.

Turret Updates Nexus turrets now respawn after destruction (3-minute delay), preventing backdoors and giving losing teams a chance to recover.
New Monster: Atakhan A new epic monster spawns on either top or bottom side, determined by kill count location.

Two variants exist:
- Ruinous Atakhan (high-kill games): 25% increase to epic monster rewards and Blood Rose drops
- Voracious Atakhan (low-kill games): +40 gold per champion kill and 150-second death mitigation effect
Blood Roses provide permanent stacking bonuses for XP and adaptive force.

Timeline Changes
- Rift Herald: Spawns at 16 minutes
- Baron Nashor: Delayed until 25 minutes
- Dragon spawns remain unchanged
