Health regeneration (HP5) is a stat that determines how quickly a unit's health automatically regenerates, measured in intervals of 0.5 seconds. The regeneration stops when reaching maximum health.

Key Facts:

  • Stacks additively (1:1 ratio)
  • Every champion has base health regeneration that grows per level (except Briar)
  • Counted as healing for modifiers and end-game stats
  • Gold value: 3 gold per point of percentage base health regeneration

Sources of Health Regeneration:

Items:

  • Doran's Ring
  • Doran's Shield
  • Guardian's Orb
  • Spirit Visage
  • Warmog's Armor

Consumables:

  • Health Potion
  • Refillable Potion
  • Total Biscuit of Everlasting Will

Champion Abilities:

  • Dr. Mundo's passive and ultimate
  • Garen's Perseverance
  • Sett's Pit Grit
  • Singed's Insanity Potion
  • Trundle's Frozen Domain

Runes:

Record Health Regeneration: The highest achievable health regeneration is 19,329 HP per 5 seconds (3,866 HP/second), achieved by Dr. Mundo with specific item builds, runes, and buffs. This setup allows him to recover from 0.01% to 100% health in approximately 4.16 seconds.

Important Notes:

  • Health regeneration can be reduced by healing reduction effects
  • Revitalize and Heal/Shield Power don't affect health regeneration
  • Oceanic Will and Ocean Dragon Soul are separate from health regeneration
