League of Legends: Complete Consumable Items Guide and List
Consumable items are single-use items in League of Legends that provide temporary effects and must be repurchased after use. These items can be stacked in a single inventory slot up to a specific limit. Using consumables won't break stealth, and they can be activated even when no inventory slots are available.
Important note: Players can only carry one type of healing potion at a time.
Common consumable items include:
- Control Ward (Vision control)
- Health Potion (Health restoration)
- Refillable Potion (Reusable healing)
- Total Biscuit of Everlasting Will (Health and mana restoration)
- Eye of the Herald (Summons Rift Herald)
Elixirs:
- Elixir of Iron (Tank stats)
- Elixir of Sorcery (Magic damage)
- Elixir of Wrath (Physical damage)
- Elixir of Force (Combat stats)
- Elixir of Skill (Ability haste)
- Elixir of Avarice (Gold generation)
Special Consumables:
- Poro-Snax (ARAM-specific)
- Juice variations (Haste, Power, Vitality)
- Your Cut (Special gold item)
- Legendary items (Class-specific: Assassin, Fighter, Mage, Marksman, Support, Tank)
- Prismatic Item (Special effects)
Historical Events: During the 2010 Harrowing event, consumable icons received holiday-themed changes:
- Elixirs were transformed into candies
- Health Potions became Candy Corn
- Mana Potions became Mana-Encrusted Apple
For the 2010 Snowdown Showdown:
- Health Potions were changed to Eggnog Health Potions
- Mana Potions became Eggnog Mana Potions
A notable glitch during the Harrowing event allowed players to appear to use consumables on other players, though the effect still applied to themselves.
