Steven Ogg, who voiced Trevor Phillips in GTA 5, recently suggested his character should die at the beginning of GTA 6. During a Screen Rant interview, Ogg proposed this would mirror Trevor's own introduction in GTA 5, where he killed Johnny Kleibitz from GTA 4's The Lost and the Damned DLC.

The death would symbolically pass the torch to GTA 6's new protagonists, providing closure for the controversial character who has divided fans since 2013.

However, the timing of Ogg's public discussion suggests this scenario is unlikely to appear in GTA 6. With the game in its final development stages, major story elements are likely already finalized. While cameos aren't uncommon in the GTA series - as seen with characters like Tony Prince (Gay Tony) appearing in GTA 5 - Trevor's return seems improbable.

Currently, Trevor Phillips remains active in both GTA 5's campaign and GTA Online's heists. Players will discover whether he makes an appearance when GTA 6 releases in fall 2024.
