Immortals finished second with only two losses - both to TSM. They'll aim for revenge and their first championship in a potential finals matchup against their rivals.

Cloud9, consistently third place, shows occasional brilliance rivaling the top teams. They face newcomers Team EnVyUs in quarterfinals, seeking their third LCS title.

Team EnVyUs, the only rookie team to make playoffs, started strong but struggled late season. Counter Logic Gaming overcame a rough start to defend their back-to-back titles, while Team Liquid stabilized after early jungler drama to secure the final playoff spot.

The tournament begins August 13th with Cloud9 vs Team EnVyUs, followed by CLG vs Team Liquid on August 14th. All matches are best-of-five series.
